Overview of Bittensor TAO

Bittensor TAO is a decentralized machine learning ecosystem that allows participants to contribute and receive rewards for providing useful computations in training neural networks. The TAO ecosystem enhances Ethereon by incorporating decentralized AI and machine learning into the consensus process.

Enhancing Consensus through AI

Through integration with Bittensor, Ethereon allows network participants to contribute both storage space and useful computational tasks, such as processing machine learning algorithms, to enhance the security and utility of the network.

Reward System

Ethereon’s PoST miners are rewarded not only for providing storage but also for assisting in machine learning tasks within the Bittensor ecosystem. This creates a dual incentive system:

  1. Block Rewards: For adding valid blocks to the blockchain.

  2. AI Rewards: For contributing computational resources to the Bittensor neural network.
